Celebrating the late young photographer and artist; Khadija Saye’s birthday this summer; 6 of our collective artists have collaborated to create a small project in her memory fusing her Gambian-British roots with her Islamic influences as a resilient and pioneering black female from North Kensington

The project is supported by Clarrie Mendy, Khadija's aunt who through photos of the Gambia over the years inspired the personal insight into the beauty that created Khadija's signature art appreciated by many across the UK and internationally recognised. This project combines photography, textiles and design elements curated by local 2nd generation young women from the African diasporas, each from a different artistic field
